I'm Amber Pereira, Principal Designer and Founder of Meraki Design Haus - a human-centered interior design studio based in Vancouver, working with residential clients throughout Vancouver and beyond, along with a curated roster of boutique commercial spaces.

I disappear into a client's world - learning how they live, how they think, what they love, then build that world back in physical form. With over a decade of experience, I'm fluent in construction drawings and FF+E specifications, and equally fluent in comfort, belonging, and personal expression. I approach every project as a case study: does this serve you? Does it support how you live? Will it hold up in five years, in ten?

Space shapes us. The environments we inhabit have a profound effect on our emotional and physical wellbeing. Every design decision is considered through the lens of how it will make you feel, day after day, year after year.

Every home has its own culture. No two clients live identically, so I don't apply a signature look across every project. Instead, I get to know your home culture - how you move through space, what brings you joy, what you need it to do for you.

Great design is invisible. When a space is truly well-designed, you don't see the design, you feel it. Furniture that flows naturally, light that moves with your day, rooms that support your routine without friction.

Trends are tools, not templates. I don't chase trends, I read them, filter them through your sensibility, and use only what serves the project: design that feels current without being dated, timeless without being stale.

The process matters as much as the result. Renovations are inherently stressful. I'm committed to making the journey feel guided, organized, and even enjoyable because how it feels to work with me is part of what you're investing in.
